Tulsa Man Arrested In Connection With June Murder

TULSA, Oklahoma –Police arrested a man Thursday night in connection with a deadly shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex last month.

Blake Stricker, 20, was arrested on a complaint of first degree murder in the death of Robert Chew on June 1, 2011. 

The shooting happened in the parking lot of Villa at Yorktown Apartments near 49th and Yorktown.

Police believe the two were involved in a drug deal when Stricker shot Chew. He left the scene in his white 2006 Toyota Tundra.

Detectives received a tip and set up surveillance to catch Stricker Thursday night. He was arrested after he was seen leaving an apartment near 81st and Yale.

Stricker was also arrested on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill for shooting Chew's friend during the dispute.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail.
