TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police say five police cars were broken into over the weekend at the department's main garage.

Police made the discovery Sunday afternoon in the 1400 block of Charles Page, where they park a fleet of cars not currently assigned to officers.

Police say all of the vehicles had their rear windows busted out.

"Very frustrating. We'd like to think that our vehicles are secure, that this kind of thing wouldn't happen but clearly it does," said Tulsa Police Officer Greg Douglass.

Police say they are still investigating, but believe police property was stolen from the trunk of one of the cars.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the suspects you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
