Blown Tire Blamed For Tulsa Highway Crash

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police say a driver of car entering northbound U.S. Highway 169 at 46st Street North struck the rear of another northbound car early Thursday, sending the car into a wall.

Tulsa Police say the driver of that car was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out.

The driver of the first car told officers his car blew a tire as he was entering the highway causing him to lose control and strike the other car.

He was not injured.
