TULSA, Oklahoma -- The How Foundation of Oklahoma is celebrating 30 years of service. Friends and family met for lunch Sunday afternoon.
The foundation helps men with drug and alcohol addictions through an intensive work and recovery program.
Former OSU basketball coach Sean Sutton was there to encourage men who may be struggling with addiction, like he once did.
"By sharing my message I hope that I can prevent people from going down that road and for the people that are already down it...give them hope," he said.
Over the past three decades more than 6,000 men have come to the How Foundation for treatment. About half of the men complete a program that's 6-months or longer.
