Potential Tough Loss for T-U and Texas

If reports that Tulsa Assistant Basketball Coach David Cason is leaving for an assistant coaching job at Vanderbilt, thats a huge loss for Doug Wojciks staff.  Hes a good coach, good guy and a great recruiter.  Cason is partially responsible for bringing talent like Ben Uzoh, Justin Hurtt and Jordan Clarkson to town.

I think my favorite player to watch in baseball is the Rangers Josh Hamilton.  Hes big, strong, fast and athletic.  I just hope hes not doomed to a short career due to injury.  He was already set back several seasons due to his battles with substance abuse.

Hamilton fractured his arm while sliding into home head first during a game with the Tigers Tuesday.  He has had injury issues in the past.  The Rangers are trying to play Hamilton less in centerfield and more in left in order to reduce wear and tear on the reigning A-L MVPs body.  Ironic that he got hurt as the designated hitter Tuesday.
