THE RED RIVER RIVALRY? IF YOU COMBINE THE COLORS CRIMSON AND BURNT ORANGE, YOU PROBABLY GET A COLOR SIMILAR TO THAT OF THE MUDDY RIVER ITSELF.
RYAN’S HOPE?AS IN OU’S BROYLES AND REYNOLDS . GETTING BROYLES BACK IS A HUGE BOOST FOR THE SOONERS?THE PLAYMAKER THAT BRADFORD NEEDS IN THE PASSING GAME. REYNOLDS WENT DOWN IN THE TEXAS GAME LAST SEASON AND WITH HIM WENT THE SOONERS’ HOPES FOR A WIN. JORDAN SHIPLEY AND COLT MCCOY EXPLOITED A SOONER DEFENSE THAT BECAME A DONUT WHEN REYNOLDS LEFT THE MIDDLE OF IT. THE PROBLEM FOR OU IS THAT THE MIDDLE HAS ONCE AGAIN BEEN A SOURCE OF ANGST AT TIMES THIS SEASON. BUT FOR SOME REASON I DON’T THINK IT WILL BE ON SATURDAY. THE SOONERS SOMETIMES SEEM TO LOSE GAMES THAT EVERYONE EXPECTS THEM TO WIN, BUT PULL OF SHOCKERS WHEN EVERYONE COUNTS THEM OUT. EVERYONE IS SHADED BURNT ORANGE ON SATURDAY. THAT’S REASON ENOUGH FOR ME TO CAST MY VOTE FOR THE CRIMSON AND CREAM.
