RedHawks Blow Lead in 6-1 Loss to Sounds
The Oklahoma City RedHawks dropped an early lead after committing a string of errors, falling to the Sounds 6-1 Wednesday.

NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- The Oklahoma City RedHawks committed four errors to give up an early 1-0 lead Wednesday and fall to the Nashville Sounds.
The RedHawks (2-5) were up 1-0 after scoring an unearned run in the second inning. The lead was short-lived however, when the Sounds recovered from the deficit and tacked on six runs for the 6-1 win.
The Sounds took the lead in the sixth, when a couple of Oklahoma City errors cost the RedHawks two runs. The Sounds added four more runs in the seventh for the win.
Tim Dillard earned the win for the Sounds after throwing 5.1 innings, allowing three hits and OKC’s only run. He struck out three RedHawks batters.
Sergio Perez finished with the loss for Oklahoma City after tossing 6.0 innings, allowing five hits and striking out seven hitters.
The RedHawks will face the Sounds again Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
