OKC Barons Fall to Manitoba 4-1
The Barons struggled on home ice and eventually suffered a 4-1 loss.

OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City Barons struggled to get something going and eventually suffered a 4-1 loss to the Manitoba Moose.
Manitoba controlled the game early scoring its first goal with 1:30 left in the first period by Cody Hodgson to give the Moose an early 1-0 lead.
In the first period alone, the Barons were outshot by the Moose 15-9.
Then in the second, Manitoba’s Alexandre Bolduc scored on a backhand shot with 2:57 left then Guillaume Desbiens gave the visitors a 3-0 lead with a power play goal at 8:52.
Manitoba extended the lead to 4-0 with 8:50 left in the third period with another goal by Bolduc on a power play.
OKC’s Richard Petiot broke the shutout on a power play goal at 10:49 for his first goal of the season. He was assisted by Colton Teubert and Brad Moran. The assist was Tuebert’s first as a Baron.
The Barons are now 33-23-2-5 on the season and will play again Thursday in San Antonio against the Rampage at 7 p.m.
OKC returns home this weekend for a pair of games against Grand Rapids on Friday at 6:05 p.m. and Saturday at 7:05 CST.
