ORU's Kevi Luper Named Summit League Player of Year

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts guard Kevi Luper was named the Summit League Player of the Year for the second straight season, the league announced Thursday.
Luper, a sophomore guard from Adair, Okla., leads the NCAA in both steals and scoring. She averages 23.8 points per game and 3.7 steals per game.
The Golden Eagles had plenty to celebrate when the awards were announced.
ORU teammate Jaci Bigham joined Luper on the All-Conference first team.
Luper was also named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Year, and ORU coach Jerry Finkbeiner received his second straight Coach of the Year award.
Oral Roberts’ Savanna Buck was named the Sixth Woman of the Year.
The Golden Eagles will open the first round of the Summit League tournament on Saturday against Western Illinois.
