TULSA, Okla. – Dominique Morrison’s performance on Saturday was representative of ORU’s recent performances: it seemed he could do no wrong.

Oral Roberts shot an unbelievable 83 percent as a team in the second half (64 percent on the game).

But ORU crawled back into it, gaining its first lead on a pair of free throws from Damen Bell-Holter to put the Golden Eagles up 20-19. ORU led by three at the break.

But the second half belonged to Morrison, as he scored 12 of ORU’s 13 points over one stretch including two 3-pointers.

He gave Oral Roberts its largest lead of 20 when he rebounded his own miss and put it back in for a 79-59 advantage with 1:24 left.

Steven Roundtree addd 12 points and four assists for the Golden Eagles, and Bell-Holter and Roderick Pearson both added double digits in scoring.
