TULSA, Oklahoma – It’s been a long time since the Tulsa 66ers lost at home. The team’s last home loss came on December 17th. And on Friday night, they were trying to stay hot on their home court, and they had a few extra fans in the crowd.
It was Thunder Affiliate Night at the 66ers game, and Thunder mascot Rumble along with the Thunder Girls and the Thunder Drummers were in attendance.
Unfortunately, even with all the extra support, the 66ers saw their home winning streak come to an end. The team trailed for the entire 1st half. But they did heat up in the 3rd, and after 3 quarters they actually led by 1. However, the 4th quarter was a different story. Utah outscored Tulsa 28-19 in the 4th and because of that, the Flash picked up the 96-88 win.
This was Tulsa’s 2nd straight loss and it drops them to 23-9 and into a tie for 1st in Western Conference. This is the first time they’ve lost back-to-back games since December 4th and 5th. The good news for the 66ers is that they won’t have to wait long to get some revenge. Tulsa hosts Utah again on Saturday night.
