OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Barons spent their day off helping out a good cause. The Barons picked up hammers and nails to help Habitat for Humanity build components for some of the houses that they are building.
Every team member was involved with the process at the Habitat for Humanity warehouse.
The Barons received some help from Oklahoma's own Professional Bull Rider Austin Meier, who is in town for the Professional Bull Riders event in Oklahoma City this weekend.
Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry who built over 35 houses in 2010.
