TULSA, Oklahoma – The month of January has been very kind to the Tulsa 66ers. At the start of the night on Thursday, the team was 9-0 in January and had actually won 10 straight games overall.

The 66ers tried to keep that streak going on Thursday as they hosted Reno. The Bighorns were the last team to beat the 66ers. And on Thursday, they caused a problem for Tulsa once again.

Reno pulled away early and it looked like it was going to be a blowout. But the 66ers had a huge 4th quarter where they outscored the Bighorns by 16. And thanks to a pair of free throws late in the 4th, they were able to force overtime.

In OT, there wasn’t a lot of offense. But all of it belonged to Tulsa. They outscored Reno 5-0 in overtime and because of that, they win their 11th straight game, beating the Bighorns 112-107.

Elijah Millsap led Tulsa with 23 points and 5 other 66ers also scored in double figures.

Tulsa is now 19-6 and they expand their lead in the Western Conference to 2 and a half games over Rio Grande Valley. The 66ers will try to stretch their winning streak to 12 on Saturday night when they host Texas.
