Toni Young Named Big 12 Player of the Week

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State’s Toni Young was named the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after the Cowgirls’ win over Oral Roberts.
The sophomore recorded her fifth double-double of the season, racking up 25 points and 10 rebounds in the win over the Golden Eagles, tying her career high in points. She also notched five steals, two assists and two blocks in the win.
She shares the honor with Texas Tech’s Teena Wickett and it marks the first time Young has won the award in her two seasons at Oklahoma State.
