Cowboys Ranked No. 14 in BCS Poll

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State is ranked No. 14 in the BCS Poll, eliminating any chance it had to represent the South Division in the Big 12 title game.
Sources confirmed to Oklahoma Sports early Sunday afternoon the Cowboys fell five spots, following their six-point loss in Bedlam. The Oklahoma Sooners are now ranked No. 9 in the BCS standings.
The Cowboys hosted the Sooners Saturday, falling short 47-41 in an action-packed matchup. Read the 2010 Bedlam recap and listen to what the players had to say about the loss.
The BCS rankings confirmed what many assumed -- Oklahoma will be playing Nebraska for the Big 12 South title. OSU, meanwhile, will wait for a bowl bid.
The BCS rankings determined who will win the Big 12 South title, as OU, OSU and TAMU were in a three-way tie. Oklahoma State, meanwhile, will have to wait to hear from the individual bowl committees who will decide in which bowl game they’ll be playing. Check out more on the potential outcomes.
Other Big 12 teams in the BCS Standings included Missouri at 12th, Nebraska at 13th and Texas A&M at 18th.
The top five teams in this week's BCS rankings in order were Auburn, Oregon, TCU, Stanford and Wisconsin.
