Bedlam Ticket Prices Frustrating Some Fans

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Everything about the annual Bedlam game is over the top, including the ticket price.

With a face value of $125, tickets for this year’s showdown between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are said to be the most expensive college football tickets in the nation.

“I think that’s outrageous,” OU student Paige Hathaway said. “I mean, it’s college football; it’s for the students. Why charge that much?”

Edmond North student Stephen O’Hearn is a big OSU fan, and he agrees the price is a little high. But O’Hearn will have tickets to the game Saturday regardless.

“I don’t buy them. My dad does,” O’Hearn said.

The Bedlam game will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium and will determine which team represents the Big 12 South in the conference championship game.
