Tulsa's Clarkson named C-USA Freshman of the Week

TULSA, Oklahoma – Golden Hurricane offensive guard Jordan Clarkson was named the Conference USA Freshman of the Week for his performances against Oral Roberts and Missouri State this past week.

He averaged 15 points and three boards in the two games, while also shooting 53 percent from the field, 66 percent from the 3-point line and 80 percent from the free-throw line.

Clarkson and the Golden Hurricane will participate in the 76 Classic, beginning on Thanksgiving Day with a 10:30 p.m. tipoff against UNLV.
