OSU Basketball Names Captains

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Oklahoma State basketball coach Travis Ford announced Monday that senior forward Marshall Moses and junior guard Keiton Page will represent the team as captains.

Moses and Page will join senior guard Nick Sidorakis as captains for the 2010-11 season.

“Keiton and Marshall have both shown a great deal of leadership throughout the off-season and during the preseason,” Ford said. “We as a coaching staff feel that they both exhibit all the qualities and characteristics of a team captain and feel they are deserving of this honor.”

Sidorakis was named a team captain in May following the 2009-10 season.

“All three of these guys are quality young men who have held themselves accountable throughout the preseason,” Ford said. “But, they’re also people who motivate and hold others accountable."

OSU has played two exhibition games so far and will open regular season play on Nov. 13 against Houston Baptist in Stillwater.
