NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma players and coaches were on hand following practice Monday to talk about this year’s Red River Rivalry.
The undefeated Sooners know Texas is heated up about their surprising 34-12 loss to the UCLA, and will expect nothing but the Longhorns’ A game on Saturday.
“I can definitely see Texas coming into the Red River and giving us there A game and nothing less,” Jonathan Nelson said. “Now, everyone is trying to talk bad about them, and so that makes that team mad. They’re going to be on edge this whole week just waiting to play us.”
The team also said they realize last week’s loss has the Longhorn’s fired up and that they’ll have to come out just as determined to get that fifth win of the season.
Check back on Tuesday. Oklahoma Sports will have the Sooners’ weekly press conference.
