OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Sooners were ranked seventh in the Associated Press Preseason Poll, released Saturday morning. Bob Stoops' team went 8-5 on the season, with a 5-3 Big 12 record.

The team kicks off its season September 4 against Utah State.
