Tulsa Drillers Shut Down Frisco Rough Riders
The Drillers' pitching staff kept the Rough Riders in check, handing the Frisco starter his only loss of the season.

FRISCO, Texas -- The Tulsa Drillers capped off a six-game road trip with a 6-1 win over the Frisco Rough Riders Monday.
The Drillers got a dynamite performance from starter Greg Reynolds (6-4), who allowed just four hits and struck out four in his seven innings of service. Travis Chick (0-1) lasted just 1.2 innings for Frisco, allowing five earned runs on three hits.
Tulsa (55-63) started the scoring early, Jeff Kindel sent a line drive to left field in the first inning to score two and take a 2-0 lead. In the second, Kindel took a walk with the bases loaded to score Warren Schaeffer and extend the lead to three runs.
After a pitching change, Jordan Pacheco hit a two-run single to right field to push the lead to 5-0.
The Drillers added another run in the top of the ninth on a Jason Van Kooten RBI double to left field to take a six-run lead into the final inning.
Frisco’s (61-58) only run of the game came in the bottom of the ninth one a Davis Stoneburner RBI single to right field.
