Tulsa Drillers Surrender Lead to Midland RockHounds
Tulsa held a two-run lead but surrendered five unanswered runs to drop game two of the series.

MIDLAND, Texas -- The Tulsa Drillers lost the second game of their six-game road trip 7-4 to the Midland RockHounds Thursday.
The Drillers (54-61) led 4-2 going into the bottom of the sixth, until the Midland (59-57) offense answered with five unanswered runs.
Corey Brown led off the bottom of the sixth with a home run to left field. Two at-bats later, Josh Horton singled to center field to bring Alex Valdez home and tie the game 4-4.
Four at-bats into the eighth inning, Shane Peterson hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Valdez from third and break the tie. Two batters later, J.C. Holt singled to right field to score two and take a 7-4 lead.
Mickey Storey (5-3) received the win for the outing after allowing just one hit and striking out four in his two innings pitched. Bruce Billings (7-6) was credited with a loss for his 1.2 innings pitched after allowing three earned runs and three hits.
Tulsa will continue its road trip Friday at Midland before heading to Frisco Saturday.
