NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Sooner fans had a chance to meet OU football players and collect autographs Friday at the annual Meet the Sooners Day.

Thousands of fans braved hot weather and half-hour lines to get up close and personal with their favorite players.

People hopeful to pick up a couple of autographs brought footballs, pictures and posters , which had players split up by position in order to disperse the immense crowds.
