TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two weeks ago, the Tulsa Shock defeated San Antonio to snap an extensive losing streak.
Friday night, history didn’t repeat itself as the Shock lost 101-85 to San Antonio at the BOK Center, dropping their sixth straight.
Forward Tiffany Jackson scored six early points as part of a 9-0 run to put the shock up nine in the first quarter. Jackson finished with eight points and seven rebounds.
The Silver Stars rallied back to take a 39-36 lead before Tulsa guard Ivory Latta hit a 3 to tie the game with 1:42 left in the first half.
But San Antonio finished the half with an 8-0 run and never trailed for the remainder of the game.
Latta scored 19 to lead the Shock, whose only win in the past 18 contests came against the same Silver Stars team on July 16. Guard Becky Hammon led San Antonio with 22 points.
The Shock (4-21) will head to Washington to take on the Mystics on Sunday at 3 p.m.
