DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Oklahoma City RedHawks rallied from a four-run deficit to defeat Iowa 8-4 Thursday to avoid a four-game sweep.
The Cubs scored four runs in a single inning for the second straight game. Iowa put up a four spot in the third to take a 3-0 lead.
Ryan Garko led the charge back for the RedHawks. He hit a two-run double in the sixth inning and knocked in runs in the eighth and ninth. He finished 2-for-5 with 4 RBIs.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to put the RedHawks on top 7-4.
Guillermo Moscoso (6-3) was credited with the win after allowing four runs (three earned) in seven innings.
Blake Parker (1-4) was tagged with the loss after giving up four earned runs in two innings.
Oklahoma City starts a four-game series with Memphis Friday at 7:05 p.m.
