Thunder Signs Veteran Guard Royal Ivey

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Wednesday the signing of veteran free agent Royal Ivey.

“His defensive mentality, competitiveness and well documented professionalism adds depth to our backcourt and strengthens the identity of our basketball team,” said general manager Sam Presti in a press release Wednesday.

The sixth-year guard out of Texas has appeared in 378 NBA games as a member of the Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers.
