Cowboys and Dez Bryant Start Contract Negotiations

DALLAS -- According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Cowboys and first-round pick Dez Bryant have opened contract negotiations.

The negotiations between the Cowboys and the No. 24 pick could potentially be an uphill battle, in light of No. 1 selection Sam Bradford still being unsigned.

The salary of the top pick usually determines the scale of the rest of the picks.

Dallas will open camp Saturday in San Antonio and is one of the first teams to open training camp this season.
