OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma State football players stepped away from their summer workouts and visited the OU Children’s Hospital Wednesday.
Quarterback Brandon Weedon and Running Back Kendall Hunter were among the Cowboys to meet the children.
“When they asked to do something like this, most of us jumped on it right away,” Weedon said.
The players’ visit started with a paint brush. Each player helped the children paint a picture of Boone Pickens Stadium.
The countdown to kickoff is shrinking, the Cowboys report for camp Wednesday, August 4th. The Cowboys open up the season at home against Washington State on September 4th.
