OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma Yard Dawgz came out strong and confident July 3 in their 70-44 victory over the Bossier Shreveport Battle Wings.
The team’s head coach Sparky McEwen was particularly pleased with the offensive explosiveness, bouncing back from a stretch of game in which it struggled.
“The defense is playing at a high level,” McEwen said. “Offensively, it was good to get back on track.”
The Dawgz are hungry for the post season. It’s a goal McEwen said isn’t out of the team’s reach.
“We believe in our locker room and in our huddle,” McEwen said. “We’ve got the playoffs in our sights.”
The Yard Dawgz next face the Iowa Barnstormers on the road July 10.
