NORMAN, Oklahoma -- It has been a busy week for athletic directors in the Big 12. There is a report that the Pac-10 has extended invites to six Big 12 schools, including Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, but OU Athletic Director Joe Castiglione denied this claim on Friday.
"Totally false," Castiglione said, "I don't know what [the Pac-10] has done in other places but we haven't had any conversations with the Pac-10 and I hope we don't have to."
Castiglione said he hopes the Big 12 will remain intact, but did not rule out the possibility of Oklahoma switching to another conference.
