OKLAHOMA CITY -- With the NCAA's verdict now nearing 13 weeks, the pressure is on for USC, which could suffer major consequences if former Trojans running back Reggie Bush is deemed guilty of rules violations.

If USC is forced to vacate victories in which Bush played, the team could lose its 2004 national championship, according to Steve Wieberg of USA Today.

In the 2004 national title game, USC defeated the University of Oklahoma 55-19. If the Trojans are stripped of their crystal ball, its possible either Oklahoma or Auburn - which finished 13-0 that season - could be awarded the national championship or it could simply be vacated.

Bush and former basketball star O.J. Mayo are being investigated after allegations surfaced regarding illegal benefits being given to the two players.

Bush's Heisman Trophy could also in jeopardy, those Heisman officials have not commented on the situation.
