Travis Ford Names Nick Sidorakis as Captain

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State head basketball coach Travis Ford announced senior Nick Sidorakis will be a team captain for the 2010-11 season.

The guard averaged 12.6 minutes a game last year, scored 2.6 points per game and grabbed 1.3 rebounds. Despite low stats, Ford said Sidorakis’ leadership abilities have shined since the end of the Cowboys’ season.

Sidorakis has been on OSU’s roster since his freshman year, which includes back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

Obi Muonelo and James Anderson both served as the Cowboys’ captains last year, and while Sidorakis was named as a captain for the upcoming season, Ford said he’s still looking for one or two co-captains.
