Thabo Sefolosha Named to NBA’s All-Defensive Second Team

The guard agitated would-be-scorers all season and logged 1.2 steals per contest.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team.

He joins Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat, Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and Anderson Varejao of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the second unit.

The 26-year-old Switzerland native started all 82 games for the Thunder in the 2009-10 season, averaging 28.6 minutes played and 1.2 steals per game.

Sefolosha was traded to the Thunder in 2009 from the Chicago Bulls for a first round draft pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
