LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -- The Tulsa Drillers mustered absolutely no offense against Arkansas as Ryan Brasier threw a no-hitter in the Travelers 4-0 victory Thursday.
Brasier went the distance striking out two batters and giving up just two walks. He threw 111 pitches and improved to 2-1 on the year.
Paul McAnulty singled to drive-in Ryan Harvey and give Arkansas a 1-0 lead in the fourth. McAnulty scored on the next play when Julio Perez tripled to left. Perez got his second RBI of the night in the eighth on a sacrifice fly on the eighth to make it a 4-0 game.
Andrew Romine scored the first run of the eighth on an Abel Nieves single.
Keith Weiser (1-2) suffered the loss for the Drillers after giving up two earned runs and seven hits in two innings.
The Drillers start a four-game series in Missouri with the Springfield Cardinals at 7:10 pm Friday.
