ORU’s Tyler Saladino Named Summit League Player of the Week

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oral Roberts shortstop Tyler Saladino earned Summit League Player of the Week honors on Monday.

The junior Golden Eagle hit .668 with a 1.500 slugging percentage over the course of the week, helping lead Oral Roberts in a series sweep over Western Illinois.

He added some heroics to his impressive performance, cranking a game-winning three-run home run in the opening game of the series against WIU.

Saladino is now hitting .374 with 10 home runs and 43 RBI on the season.
