66ers Make Playoffs for First Time in Franchise History

Tulsa was one of eight teams that made the 2010 D-League playoff and will take on the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the first round.

TULSA, Oklahoma – Fresh off their best season in franchise history, the Tulsa 66ers will take on the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the first round of the 2010 NBA D-League Playoffs.

The 66ers, who finished with a franchise-best 27 wins this season, are making their first appearance in the D-League postseason.


Game one will be played at the Tulsa Convention Center in downtown Tulsa, while games two and three (if necessary) will be played in Sioux Falls. Game one of the series will be Thursday, April 8 at the Tulsa Convention Center, with tip-off scheduled at 12:30 p.m. CDT.

Other first round matchups included Iowa taking on Utah, Rio Grande Valley playing Reno, and Austin battling Dakota. The winner of the Tulsa-Sioux Falls series will face off against the winner of the Iowa-Utah series in the second round.

The 66ers are the minor league affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
