Jeff Burleson Named Summit League Pitcher of the Week

TULSA, Oklaoma -- Oral Roberts’ pitcher Jeff Burleson was named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week after his complete game win over No. 30 Wichita State.

The senior right-hander gave up only five hits and struck out seven in his first career nine-inning complete game.

Burleson is 2-2 this season with a 6.59 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 27.1 innings pitched.

ORU visits No. 7 Texas in Austin Tuesday.
