NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Former Sooner guard Tommy Mason-Griffin announced via his Facebook page his plans to enter the NBA Draft.

As stated on his Facebook page, “on a mission?its a official dat i am leavin skool and enterin draft so if yue see me and ask y i aint doin anotha yr yue mite get ignored”

Wednesday afternoon, Sooners head coach Jeff Capel confirmed that Mason-Griffin and Ray Willis, who also used Facebook to announce his departure from the OU basketball team, would not return.

"I thank him for his contributions this season and wish him success," Capel said in a statement.

It was previously reported that the freshman guard left campus after spring break and did not intend to return.

In the 2009-10 season, Mason-Griffin averaged 14.1 points and five assists per game. Willis, a sophomore guard, played in 13 games and intends to transfer.

"I wish him well, wish him luck and will do what I can to assist him in finding another school," Capel said.

Willie Warren and Tiny Gallon are currently involved with controversy involving a financial adviser.

Last month, after a loss to Kansas State, Capel hinted that there could be major changes to the Sooners' roster after season's end.

"I don't mean this in a negative way, but scholarships aren't guaranteed for next year," Capel said at the time. "There will be some decisions that will be made. So if guys aren't motivated, they'll make that decision a little bit easier."

The Oklahoma men's basketball team dropped to 13-18 this season after holding the league's best record at 30-6 the previous season. OU dropped its final nine games of the season, the school's longest losing streak since 1964.
