Tulsa's Tiffani Couisnard Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

The sophomore forward has been a bright spot for the Golden Hurricane on and off the court.

IRIVING, Texas --Tiffani Couisnard was named to the 2010 Conference USA Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced Thursday by the league office. It is the sophomore forward’s second consecutive year on the All-Academic Team.

Couisnard has a 3.75 GPA in psychology, and was named to the Tulsa Dean’s List and picked up C-USA All-Academic honors as a freshman. She averages 4.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

The all-academic team consists of students who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on the basketball team.

Kim Gay (East Carolina), Roxanna Button (Houston), Tara Watts (Rice), Alice Severin (SMU) and Amanda Peterson (UAB) join Couisnard on the team.
