Off Kansas Upset, James Anderson and Matt Pilgrim Take Home Big 12 Awards

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – A pair of Oklahoma State players took home weekly Big 12 awards after strong performances.

Junior guard James Anderson won his second-straight Big 12 Player of the Week award, averaging 20.5 points and seven rebounds in two games against Texas and Kansas.

Also grabbing weekly conference honors was Matt Pilgrim, the Big 12 Rookie of the Week. He was a big contributor in the Cowboys’ upset win over Kansas, scoring 18 points and grabbing six rebounds. Pilgrim is the first Oklahoma State player to win the award this season.
