STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State has rescheduled its softball home opener due to inclement weather.

The Cowgirls were set to take on North Texas Tuesday at 5 p.m., but with the threat of freezing temperatures OSU has pushed the game back to Wednesday March 3 at 3 p.m.

Oklahoma State heads to Palm Springs, Calif. this weekend to take part in the Cathedral City Classic. The tournament is hosted by Oregon State University and the Cowgirls will open play against Hawaii Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
