SHREVEPORT, Louisiana – The Oral Roberts women led wire to wire on the way to a blowout 95-65 victory over the Centenary Ladies Saturday.

The Golden Eagles (13-7, 7-2) jumped out to an early 16-6 lead and never looked back. Centenary (1-19, 0-8) committed 23 turnovers in the first half and allowed ORU to take a 44-25 advantage into the break.

The game did not get any closer after halftime.

The Ladies continued to have problems holding on to the ball, while their defense had no answer for Jaci Bigham, Kevi Luper or Jordan Pyle. Bigham scored 24 points, Luper scored 22 and Pyle added 15, nearly combining to outscore the entire Centenary team.

Leslie Forest was one of the lone bright spots for the Ladies. Forest finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds, and Anne Farrell added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Centenary has struggled all year, with its only win of the season coming by two points against McNeese State. The Ladies’ 65 points against ORU are the most they have scored in more than a month, and only the third time this season they have scored more than 60 points.

ORU has now won four games in a row and continues to hold on to a No. 2 ranking in the Summit League. The Golden Eagles will have a shot at solidifying that spot next Saturday when they face South Dakota State, which is currently one game behind ORU in the conference standings.
