OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thunder forward Jeff Green will shop for groceries with a local family at a Homeland grocery store in Bethany Thursday.
Green will be shopping with the Callins family, who will receive $500 worth of groceries this trip and a gift card for $500 dollars to be used at a later time.
The Callins family was selected by the Regional Food Bank to receive the gift of groceries. The family is made up of grandparents raising five grandchildren who range from ages 2 to 12 and Mrs. Callin is legally blind.
Green is Oklahoma City’s third-leading scorer averaging 14.1 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game.
