Man Found Shot To Death Inside Delaware County Home

DELAWARE COUNTY – The OSBI is investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Thursday morning at a home in Delaware County.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Delaware County Sheriff's deputies were called to the home near Eucha about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to the Delware County Sheriff's Office, the homeowner called 911 and said a man was breaking into his home.

Investigators arrived to find 27-year-old Steven Gooding dead inside the home. The OSBI said Gooding had been shot several times.

The homeowner, whose name has not been released, has not been arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
