North Tulsa Shooting Sends Victim To The Hospital

TULSA, Oklahoma -- An armed robber is on the run after shooting a man in the head late Monday night in north Tulsa.

The incident happened near 43rd Street North and Cincinnati.

Tulsa Police Captain Dave Roberts said the residents told police the suspect kicked in the door of the home and attempted to rob them.  The residents said the suspect then opened fire, striking one man in the head.

The victim, in his mid 20's, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, officers said.  Police don't expect his injuries to be life threatening.  His name has not been released.

Police are still looking for the gunman.  They had no description to go on.
