Abandoned Truck Found Burning In North Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa firefighters responded to a report of smoke and found an abandoned pickup on fire at about 4 a.m. Sunday. The truck had been left in the 1900 block of Old North Osage Drive.

It took a little while to locate the vehicle that was parked near a jogging trail. There was a long "burn out" mark from burned tire rubber leading up to the vehicle and a pile of shredded rubber at the start of the mark.

The truck's tail lights had been broken out. The truck had not been reported stolen as of early Sunday morning.

Tulsa firefighters extinguished the blaze.
