ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Claremore motorcyclist was injured when a driver turned left in front of his bike on State Highway 266 at Mullinax Road in Rogers County. It happened at 8:24 p.m. Saturday, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Trooper Matt Logsdon said 23-year-old Bobby J. Fritz was westbound on Highway 266 when a driver going eastbound failed to yield while turning left.  The driver, 76-year-old Barbara J. Malcom of Claremore, was not injured.

Fritz was taken by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he was admitted in stable condition with arm, leg, trunk and head injuries, Logsdon said.
