WAGONER, Oklahoma -- A Wagoner County inmate who walked away from work detail last weekend is back behind bars.

Wagoner County authorities, along with the help of Cherokee County Deputies, apprehended 30-year-old Joseph Payne Saturday near Hulbert.
Payne was serving time for meth related charges when he escaped from the Wagoner County Jail wearing only an inmate uniform.
Circumstances of his arrest are not known at this time.
