Tulsa Police Find Wrecked, Abandoned Car In North Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police found a damaged car but no driver when they investigated a rollover accident in the 3500 block of North Tisdale early Saturday morning.

The Mitsubishi Montero was found on the wrong side of the road with debris scattered around the accident scene at about 6:20 a.m. It was northbound on the shoulder of southbound lanes of traffic. Officers believe the Montero struck a light pole that was downed about 50 yards south on the road's shoulder.

There were signs of injury in the vehicle, but the driver had left the scene.
