TULSA, Oklahoma – More than 100 customers waited in line to celebrate the unofficial start of the summer season at Josh's Sno Shack in south Tulsa Friday.

The sno cone shop kicked off its summer season Friday at 12 p.m at its 71st and Garnett location.

Many students in the Tulsa-area were out of school because of the Good Friday holiday.  Friday was also senior skip day at Union High School.

One group told News On 6 had been waiting in line since midnight.

"It's insane, but it's awesome," Josh Juarez, owner, said. "Last year we had a good crowd; this year is even better."

Customers were given free t-shirts, pens, and bumper stickers while they waited.

Josh's Sno Shack has three other locations in Tulsa, one at 91st and Memorial, 81st and Yale, and 61st and Memorial.
